“I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them. It is not to inaugurate new programs, but to cancel old ones that do violence to the Constitution, or that have failed their purpose, or that impose on the people an unwarranted financial burden. I will not attempt to discover whether legislation is "needed" before I have first determined whether it is constitutionally permissible. And if I should later be attacked for neglecting my constituents' "interests," I shall reply that I was informed that their main interest is liberty and that in that cause I am doing the very best I can.”
― Barry Goldwater
Sin is not worthy! On your voting ballot you have to print Brent Backus on the write in candidate line for LD13 Senate and fill in the voting circle next to the write in name.
In Liberty...God Bless...Brent Backus
Your alternative is the establishment incumbent Sine Kerr- A puppet for Senate President Fann and Governor Ducey.
She voted to adjourn the Senate on May 8,2020 while there were over 20 good bills in the House to vote on. This also gave Governor Ducey unchecked powers during the COVID19.
Thus, thank Sine Kerr for the State shutting down, businesses closed forever, and people losing their jobs.
She earned a Liberty Index score of 70 which almost makes her a Democrat.
She voted "Yes " on SB 1519- School Safety and Protection Orders (Red Flag Laws). She was sworn in to uphold the Constitution. Maybe she thought that it did not include the 2nd Amendment.
She supports refugee resettlement in AZ as we have veterans sleeping on the streets. It is interesting that the federal government provides a single refugee with a monthly allowance of $1,890.00 and each can also get an additional $580.00 in social assistance for a total of $2,470.00
She did nothing to reduce the flow of illegals into AZ. Ask Yuma how they liked their community being flooded with illegals.
She voted to increase fees/taxes (SB1240,SB1335,SB1571).
Remember let's keep Sin out of our lives!
